Stupid ideas I'd put in place if I was Prime Minister #1: switch prisoner food costs for military food budgets
I’ve always wondered why the cost per head of food for prisoners in the UK penal system is around £2.00 a day while the military food budget provides around £1.50 a day per person to feed soldiers, sailors and air-force personnel. Why not simply switch those budgets?
